We specialize in small artisan contractors, also known as casual contractors who specialize in repair and remodeling of single family dwellings. Classes include many occupations that involve skilled work with tools at the customer’s premises. Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, handymen and landscapers are some of them.

More than 40 classes of contractors are eligible under the Artisan Contractor Remodel/Repair Program, including some classes not usually written by other companies.

Artisan Contractors Insurance Services (ACIS) specializes in providing insurance products and services to the growing home remodel and improvement construction segment. As a result of the changing economy, many contractors are now operating much smaller, more profitable businesses. Many are sole proprietors or operate small, closely held businesses, and while their insurance needs have changed, their need for proper liability coverage and certificates of insurance for their clients continues.
